We know the difference. We’ve learned it through 17 years experience working for individual real estate agents.

  10. Pay per click advertising can be very profitable in 3 or 4 situations, but over 17 years in business we’ve found that our clients get far more traffic per dollar by investing their money getting high organic rankings, than by spending it on pay per click ads. The fact is that only 15% of Google users EVER click one those pay per click ads.

  21. What is Remarketing? Is it the same as Retargeting?
  22. Remarketing, sometimes called Retargeting, is when you go to a website, and then when you go to other websites you see display ads for the first website you visited. It’s more expensive than regularly pay-per-click advertising because the ads are display ads, with images, but it can be very profitable. Google calls it Remarketing. Facebook calls it Retargeting.

  30. No, the Yellow Pages website does NOT have any special relationship with Google that enables them to give your website or your business higher rankings or more traffic, even though some of their sales people make it sound that way. The only relationship Google has with the Yellow Pages website is that they look at the addresses and phone numbers of businesses listed in the free listings of the Yellow Pages website, when showing the location of businesses on their Google Maps.

  31. What is Inbound Marketing?
  32. Marketing is no longer about pushing your sales message on the masses and hoping somebody calls you. People are getting tired of that approach because it’s rude. Today marketing is more about proving your worth in advance, and helping potential clients find you when they’re ready. This is Inbound Marketing. It’s a more respectful way to do business. If you do business this way people will respect you more. And because the internet reaches such a large percentage of the local population the potential return on investment is huge.

  33. What does Analytics mean?
  34. Analytics simply means “website statistics”. As part of our services we set up a Google Analytics account for every client. It tells us how many visitors your website receives, what websites they came from, and even what keywords they searched for on Google to find you. We use this information to improve the effectiveness of your website to get more people to contact you.
